The
Clay Penn is located at 5111 Penn Ave, right beside Vince’s Pizza.
Laura Jean McLaughlin is the Director of the Clay Penn, which provides
her with studio production space for her Ceramic business; Clay and
Prints. Ceramic artwork will be available for purchase by appointment.
The
Clay Penn provides opportunities for artists and people from the
community to show and create artwork from Various Mediums. It is our
mission to provide classes, workshops and mentor-ships to the public.
Visiting artists will have the opportunity to do workshops and create artwork at The Clay Penn.
Class
and exhibition schedule will be available soon. Most openings at the
clay Penn are in conjunction with Un-blurred "First Fridays" and are
accessible by the UV loop.
A Large Ceramic mural will be constructed with the community on the side of the entire building.
